Aida qualified into the Patent Litigation department in 2015, having joined Bristows as a trainee in 2013.

Aida’s patent dispute practice is predominantly in the life sciences sector. Aida has experience in patent disputes before the English Courts, as well as global life-cycle management projects regarding small-molecule, antibody pharmaceutical and drug device products. Such projects involve coordinating litigation in numerous jurisdictions across the globe and assisting with the development and application of cross-border litigation strategy. Aida often works closely with local counsel and patent attorneys in various jurisdictions to ensure a cohesive litigation approach.

During her training contract at Bristows, Aida gained experience in a wide range of other practice areas, including competition and transactional IP. She also spent three months on secondment to a leading internet services company where she assisted on various litigation matters.

Aida is passionate about inclusion and is a committee member of Bristows’ Lyda Network, which is dedicated to celebrating race, ethnicity and culture in the firm.
