Mike specialises in technology and data privacy.

He advises on and negotiates commercial, technology and outsourcing agreements. He is experienced in helping clients navigate highly regulated sectors, including the telecoms and financial sectors, and regularly advises on new and developing technologies, such as biometrics and machine learning.

Mike advises some of the world’s largest technology companies on a range of data protection and privacy issues. This work includes developing privacy strategies, product counselling, engagement with supervisory authorities, assessing and mitigating risks, and implementing data sharing and international transfer arrangements.

He also helps e-commerce companies comply with ePrivacy and consumer protection rules. He has experience of in-house work with a large technology platform’s legal team, and also in the telecoms and financial sectors.
