In Digital Transformation projects, people and culture are usually more important than the tech

This article sums up some of the challenges we see our clients navigate on their Digital Transformation projects.

Quite often they want to implement a new technology or trend - whether cloud-first, AI and analytics, process automation or agile working.

But just as often they find the enterprise isn't yet ready to be transformed.  Examples abound.

Are your people skilled up to "do" agile?  Or will they revert to traditional development models, putting at risk project you embarked on without requirements?

Is the reason for migrating to the cloud simply to cut costs?  Or to engage with customers and other stakeholders through multiple channels?

We're all more adept at using technology in our every day working lives than ever before.  But often organisations forget the "transformation" aspect of digital projects, and so do not achieve their objectives to make the enterprise work differently.

The challenge is that most people aren’t ready for it – they are simply not ready to be transformed.
