The Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act

Are you an overseas entity that owns properties in the UK or has a lease of more than seven years relating to UK properties? If so, from 1 August 2022, you will be required to comply with the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act and may need to submit details of your beneficial ownership for the purposes of a new Register operated by Companies House.
