France’s local UPC division offers English as a language option

In Language of proceedings in the UPC it was noted last week that it appeared from the list published by the Unified Patent Court (UPC) that all local divisions, other than those in Germany, France and Italy, will offer English as an option and the regional division (Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia) will hear proceedings only in English. However, now the UPC’s list (in Language of Proceedings) has been updated and shows that the French local division (in Paris) will also offer English as an option. While the entries for Germany and Italy do not appear to have been changed on the UPC website, it is possible that they too are in the process of moving in the same direction.
