In its meeting last week, the Administrative Committee of the Unified Patent Court (UPC) approved a Code of Conduct for representatives appearing before the Court. This Code of Conduct was approved in draft form in June 2016 by the UPC Preparatory Committee, with several organisations (EPLAW, EPLIT, epi, IPLA and CCBE) having been involved in its development. As the Code states, representatives may, in addition to the Code, be subject to other professional codes and laws, e.g. national or regional (such as epi or CCBE).
