Safe spaces for esports

We're seeing a lot of activity amongst clients and industry generally in relation to age-verification of children, not only in the area of esports but more generally for child-directed services and content. While the details of this collaboration are yet to be seen, it looks to be welcomed, particularly having been developed within the ICO's sandbox initiative. As the Age Appropriate Design Code draws closer, we're expecting to see more initiatives of this kind, as well as industry interest in other platforms that facilitate compliance both in terms of the processing of children's data, and managing access to children-appropriate content.
